    1.71km

    Explanation

    Velocity is defined as the change in displacement of a body with respect to time. Displacement specifies direction and as such is a vector quantity.

    Mathematically;

    Velocity = displacement/time

    Displacement = velocity * time

    Given velocity of the body = 0.95m/s

    Time = 30minutes

    Time = (30*60) seconds

    = 1800seconds

    Displacement = 0.95*1800

    Displacement = 1710m

    Since 1000m = 1km

    1710m to km will give;

    1710/1000

    = 1.71km

    1.71 km

    Explanation:

    Convert 30 minutes to seconds:

    30 min * (60 s / min) = 1800 s

    Find the displacement:

    0.95 m/s * 1800 s = 1710 m

    Convert to kilometers:

    1710 m * (1 km / 1000 m) = 1.71 km
