A solar eruption is defined as a sudden, rapid and intense variation of brightness that is observed on the surface of the Sun due to an explosion of hot gases. It releases a large amount of energy in the form of electromagnetic radiation (gamma rays and X-rays), energy particles and mass movements, but varies in intensity and frequency.

    Explanation:

A solar eruption is defined as a sudden, rapid and intense variation of brightness that is observed on the surface of the Sun due to an explosion of hot gases. It releases a large amount of energy in the form of electromagnetic radiation (gamma rays and X-rays), energy particles and mass movements, but varies in intensity and frequency.

A solar eruption occurs when the sunspot's magnetic fields explode, so that for a solar eruption to occur, the magnetic energy accumulated in the Sun's atmosphere has to be suddenly released. Then the radiation is emitted to the entire electromagnetic spectrum and while this happens, solar particles such as neutrons, protons and heavy nuclei heat up and accelerate in the Sun's atmosphere. If the eruption is large, it has the potential to emit up to 1032 erg of energy per second.
