    -31.4 m/s

    50.2 m

    Explanation:

    Given:

    x₀ = 0 m

    v₀ = 0 m/s

    t = 3.2 s

    a = - 9.8 m/s²

    Find: v and x

    v = at + v₀

    v = (-9.8 m/s²) (3.2 s) + 0 m/s

    v = - 31.36 m/s

    x = x₀ + v₀ t + ½ at²

    x = 0 m + (0 m/s) (3.2 s) + ½ (-9.8 m/s²) (3.2 s) ²

    x = - 50.176 m

    Rounding, the bag reaches a velocity of - 31.4 m/s after falling a distance of 50.2 m.
