A 50kg I've skater goes around in a circle of radius 5.0m at a constant speed of 3.0m/s on a level Ice rink. What is the magnitude of the horizontal force that the ice exerts on the skates?

    Explanation:

    When resolving in a circular path we talk about Centripetal force

    Mathematically;

    Centripetal force (f) = mv^2 / r

    Where m = mass

    V = velocity

    r = radius

    Therefore;

    50 x 3^2 / 5

    = 90N
