The Milky Way contains over 200 billion stars, and enough dust and gas to make billions more. The solar system lies about 30,000 light-years from the galactic center, and about 20 light-years above the plane of the galaxy.

The milky way Galaxy is our own Galaxy in which our planet earth along with other planets and the Sun comprising the Solar system, exists.

    Explanation:

The Milky way Galaxy is the boundless galaxy which seems to end where the cloudy mixture of star do not seem to appear anymore, but do not have a sharp margin of boundary anywhere round.

It has stars, gases, and countless dust particles which makes up the galaxy look cloudy and milky and so has been named. It is largely barred spiral galaxy and look like milky light bands form when we see in the dark region.
