Out of all given options, the functions of the cerebellum are:

Receives sensory plans for movements indirectly affects the excitability of motor neurons

    Answer: Options A and D

    Explanation:

The cerebellum is appeared behind the upper region of the brain-stem (where the spinal cord touches the brain) and consists of two hemispheres. It receives messages from the spinal cord, sensory systems and brain's other parts, and then stimulates motor movements. It coordinates voluntary motions, such as posture, coordination, balance, and speech, which leads to smooth and stable muscle activity.

This is also important when learning motor behaviour. It is relatively brain's small part (10% of its total mass). But contains half of brain's neurons, specialized cells which passes messages using electrical signals. Cerebellum damages can cause imbalances, slow motion and shocks (vibrations), although they do not cause paralysis or mental deterioration.
