    v = 80 km/hr

    Explanation:

    Given that

    Time t = 1 minute 48 seconds

    We know that

    1 min = 60 sec

    1 sec = 1/60 min

    1 hr = 60 min

    1 min = 1/60 hr

    t = 1/60 + 48/3600 hr

    t = 0.03 hr

    Given that distance d = 2400 m

    d = 2.4 km

    We know thart

    d = v. t

    v = speed

    2.4 = v x 0.03

    v = 80 km/hr
