    Explanation:

    Based on Newton's first law, an object will remain in its rest state or motion unless an some external forces act on it. The external force can be a balanced or unbalanced force.

    The balanced forces act on an object with equal magnitudes but in opposite direction, so the net force will be zero. But unbalanced forces are the forces where the net forces on the object is not zero.

    The best example for this is tug of war. Here, the tug will go towards the team who will pull with greater magnitude of force. Thus, the object will move towards the direction of strongest force among all on the unbalanced forces acting on the object.
