    The direction of the momentum vector will be the same as the velocity. Putting "Momentum" in Conceptual terms: Two factors affecting momentum is the mass and velocity of the object. An object that has a low velocity and a small mass produce minimal momentum because it would take a small force and/or time to stop it.
