If a refrigerator is a heat pump that follows the first law of thermodynamics, how much heat was removed from food inside of the refrigerator if it released 441J of energy to the room?

    We cannot say how much exactly as we don't know the efficiency of the fridge. What we can say however it's definitely less than 441 J, as no device has 100% efficiency. This is the reason why it does not make sense to use fridge to cool down the air if there's no no aircon, as it will generate more heat than it deducts, so it will actually heat up the room even more.
