    Momentum = (mass) x (speed)

    (Speed = magnitude of velocity)

    36,000 kg-km/hr = (1,500 kg) x (speed)

    Divide each side by (1,500 kg):

    Speed = (36,000 kg-km/hr) / (1,500 kg)

    Speed = (36,000 / 1,500) kg-km / hr-kg

    Speed = 24 km/hr
