During day time ground warms up quicker than the Sea. the air over the land gets more heated and arises up. On the other hand, sea air is colder and denser and replaces the land air and take its place. this takes up the sea breeze. At night land cool faster than the sea, now the air above the land is cooler than the air above the sea. The same process happens again is known as the Land breeze.

The wind will blow from the higher pressure over the water to lower pressure over the land causing the sea breeze. The sea breeze strength will vary depending on the temperature difference between the land and the ocean. At night, the roles reverse. The air over the ocean is now warmer than the air over the land.
