The period of a certain wave is 20 seconds. What is the frequency of this wave? 0.05 waves/sec 10 waves/sec It depends on the medium. It depends on the speed of the wave.

    Either one is (1 / the other one).

    If the period is 20seconds, then the frequency is 1 / (20 seconds)

    = 0.05 per second

    = 0.05 Hz.
