What is meant by "reflecting" and "refracting" telescopes?

    The reflecting telescope is the process by which the light ray bounced off in the mirror of the telescope and it uses the curve mirror for collecting and focusing the light. And in this refracting telescope we used curve or the shallow mirrors for focusing the light.

    The refracting telescope are defined as the telescope which uses the convex lens to gather the light and it travel from one end to another end. It collected the large amount of light in the lens so that is why it is possible to see through naked eyes.
