Why did Kepler need Tycho Brahe's data to formulate his laws?

    Kepler want to deduce the the formula for universal theory for the motion of planet and for this purpose Kepler need data which supports the heliocentric model and Brahe's has that data which supports the heliocentric motion so for the deduction of universal theory of motion of planets Kepler needed the Tycho Brahe's data to formulate his law.
