How is scientific definition of work different from the ordinary concept of wok

    Scientific definition of work is using force to move an object a distance (A=F*S where A is work m, F is force and S is distance). Work in general is a synonym for a job meaning an activity involving mental or physical effort done in order to achieve a result (get money in most cases).
