While performing an experiment to establish relationship between weight of a rectangular wooden block lying on a horizontal table and the minimum force required to just move it using a spring balance, a student calculated the minimum force required as 180 gwt, to move the wooden block of 400 gwt. If the places another block mass 100gwt over it, than the force required will (A) remain same (B) decrease (C) increase (D) may decrease or increase

    C It will increase. Static fiction is proportional to the force that gravity applys to the body. Increasing the weight the fiction increases, so does the force required to move the body
