    Net force = ∑ of all forces.

    In our problem we have two forces, one is going to the right and the other one goes to the left.

    Net force = 22 + (-13)

    Net force = 22 - 13

    Net force = 9 N.

    As the force is positive, we can conclude that the force is going to the right.
