What is the speed of the walking person in m/s if the person travels 1000 m in 20 minutes?

    Change 20 minutes to seconds ...

    20 * 60 = 120 seconds, because seconds (s) is the SI unit for time.

    speed = 1000m/120s

    = 8.33 m/s
