    Motorcycle travel 39.75 m while coming to a stop

    Explanation:

    We have equation of motion

    v = u + at

    Final velocity, v = 0 m/s, u = 15 m/s, t = 5.3 s

    0 = 15 + a x 5.3

    a = - 2.83 m/s²

    Now we have the other equation of motion

    v² = u² + 2as

    0² = 15² - 2 x 2.83 x s

    s = 39.75 m

    Motorcycle travel 39.75 m while coming to a stop
