    m = mass of the object lifted by you = 14 kg

    g = acceleration due to gravity by earth on the object being lifted = 9.8 m/s²

    h = height to which the object is lifted slowly = 0.80 m

    W = Work done in lifting the object

    work done in lifting the object is same as the gravitational potential energy gained by the object. hence

    Work done = Gravitation potential energy of object

    W = m g h

    inserting the values

    W = (14) (9.8) (0.80)

    W = 109.8 J
