What is the impulse on a car (750 kg) that accelerates from rest to 5.0 m/s in 10 seconds

    impulse J = m * (v2-v1) = 750 * (5 - 0) = 3750 (N*s)

    Force = mass * acceleration,

    Hence impulse is;

    mass * acceleration * time.

    From Newton's second law

    Force * time = mass * ∆velocity

    750 * 5 = 3750Ns

    ∆velocity = Vfinal-Vinitial; the initial velocity is zero since the body starts from rest.
