    Where

    V1 = 0

    V2 = 20

    T1 = 0

    T2 = 5

    The slope or gradient of a velocity time graph is the acceleration.

    Slope = change in V / change in t

    That is,

    Slope = (V2 - V1) / (T2 - T1)

    Substitutes all the values into the formula

    Slope = (20 - 0) / (5 - 0)

    Slope = 20/5

    Slope = 4 m/s^2

    Therefore, acceleration of the object is 4m/s^2
