    Convection

    Explanation:

When the wind blows it carries the heat energy from one place to another along with it hence it contributes the heat transfer by the convection mode. Wind blows in the form of bulk mass of air in the atmosphere from one place to another rotating and mixing the hot and cold air. When the lowest layer of the atmosphere comes into contact with a relatively hotter surface then it also becomes hot and less denser than the surrounding air due to thermal expansion. Now this lighter air rises up and the coldest layer being denser replaces its position to heat up by the hotter surface.
