Correct answer is option B (high temperature and high pressure)

    Explanation:

    Nuclear Fusion:

The process in which two light nuclei join together to form a heavy nucleus is known as nuclear fusion. During nuclear fusion large amount of energy is released.

To carry out nuclear fusion reaction nuclei must come towards each other with large force because both the nuclei are positively charged and when come towards each other they repel each other. To overcome this repulsive force they should move towards each other with greater acceleration or large amount of force. For large force, high temperature and high pressure is needed. When this repulsive force between nucleus overcome that time nuclei will impact each other and these nucleus will join together to form a heavy nucleus.
