1.) if you are sitting still are you accelerating? How do you know?

2.) you're on a skateboard, moving very fast but at a constant speed. are you accelerating?

3.) Lara claims that if an object is accelerating it must be moving. She also claims that if an object is not accelerating it must be at rest. Is she correct? If not, what would you say to prove her wrong?

    yes. gravity is working on you and everything on you.

    also earth is rotating

    no not in respect ofimmediate surroundings

    object could move at constant velocity = no change in either magnitude or direction

    change of position "proves" this
