    The box to move at a constant speed so there is no acceleration. The horizontal force applied is only for overcoming the friction force. So the friction force = the applied force = 100 N.

    F = ma + friction

    m=5kg but speed=3.0m/s=constant so a=0

    F = friction = 100 N
