    48 m/s

    Explanation:

    m = mass of the object = 28 kg

    F = magnitude of net force acting on the object = 232 N

    acceleration of the object is given as

    a = F/m

    a = 232/28

    a = 8.3 m/s²

    v₀ = initial velocity of the object = 5 m/s

    v = final velocity of the object

    t = time interval = 5.2 s

    using the kinematics equation

    v = v₀ + a t

    v = 5 + (8.3) (5.2)

    v = 48 m/s
