    potential is equal to mgh

    we know that mass = 1220 kg

    g=9.8 0r 10

    400=1220*9.8*x

    400=11956x

    x=400/11956

    height = 3.2 meters (approximately)

    Explanation:

    Potential energy is usually defined as the amount of energy that is stored in an object by virtue of its position. It is denoted by P. E.

    Mathematically,

    ⇒ P. E = mass * gravity * height

    Given that,

    P. E = 400 J

    Mass, m = 1220 kg

    Gravity can be taken as, g = 9.8 m/sec²

    ⇒ 400 = 1220 * 9.8 * height

    ⇒ Height = 400 : (1220 * 9.8)

    ⇒ Height = 400 : 124.5

    ⇒ Height = 3.2 meters
