    A. The marlin has more momentum.

    Explanation:

    When you multiply an object's mass and its velocity we get its momentum. It is also called linear momentum.

    p = m * v

    As velocity of both the fish are same then let it be v

    Momentum of 500 kilogram marlin

    p₁ = 500v kg m/s²

    Momentum of 20 kilogram salmon

    p₂ = 20v kg m/s²

    It can be seen that p₁>p₂.

    So, the 500 kilogram marlin has more momentum.
