Both slicing a tomato and burning toast cannot be reversed, so why is slicing a tomato only considered a physical change?

    Because like someone said your cutting it and if you try to put it back together you and you and that would make it physical

    Most likely because if you slice a tomato in pieces, it is not whole anymore and is in multiple pieces. It's physical form has changed, and that can't be reversed.
