Some metal conductor has a resistance of 12ohm. When plugged into a circuit, the amount of heat 144J is released in 12s. What is the voltage at the ends of the conductors?

    Explanation:

    E = power * time

    Power = V^2/R

    E = (V^2 * t) / R

    144 = (V^2 / 12) * 12

    144 = V^2

    V = root of 144

    V = 12V
