    Explanation:

    In a parallel circuit, when all the resistors are in parallel to the power supply, the voltage across all the branches in parallel is the same but the current decreases as we add more load. If each current path P has different resistances, highest current flows through the path which has the least resistance and hence current decreases proportionally.
