    Answer

    Magnetism

By empty space we mean in vacuum. A force in a spring means gravity must play part. Force on a spring gravitational force must apply. For this reason it can not act through empty space.

Tension is the force experienced due to compression or extension. In this case gravity is involved and so it can't act through empty space.

Normal force is given by the product of mass and gravity.

Magnetism is the force of attraction or repulsion in magnetism. This is the only force that can act through empty space.

    Answer

Option D - The type of force if Magnetism.

    Explanation

This type of force is produced by the motion of the charged particles and by showing the attraction and repulsion in empty space between the magnetic materials such as iron. It has a property of certain substances to pull closer or repel objects farther. The charged particles are known as electrons that carry charges to exert attractive force and repulsive force. Magnetism is one aspect of the combined electromagnetic force which is a physical phenomenon that gives a ride of force by the magnets due to the motion of electrically charged particles.
