Explain how magnetic forces enable a maglev train to float above the tracks.

Magnetic forces use two main components to keep a maglev train afloat. They first use Lifting Forces, (force that pushes upward with a lot of pressure, enough to counteract gravity.) It also uses stability, (this ensures that the train will not flip or slide out of control.)

Two sets of magnetic forces enable Maglev train to work. We know that like poles repel each other and unlike poles attract each other. The repulsion between one set of magnets lifts the train up from the tracks. The train floats or we can say levitates above the track. Another set of magnetic forces makes it move forward.
