    Net force = 3640 N

    Explanation:

    From first equation of motion

    V = U + at

    4.5 = 22 + 6.75a

    (4.5-22) : 6.75 = a

    acceleration (a) = - 2.6m/s^2 (negative sign shows deceleration, but actual acceleration is 2.6)

    But Force = mass * acceleration

    Force = 1400 * 2.6

    Force = 3640 N
