Work is defined as the use of force to move an object in the direction of that force and is equal to the force times the distance the object moved. How do energy and power relate to work?

    Answer: Energy exists if there is work and power is the measure of work done in unit time.

    Explanation: Energy is defined as the ability to do work so that work equals to change in kinetic energy or change in potential energy which are two types of the mechanical energy of a moving object. Power is the rate of work done. In the other words power is the work done in a unit time.
