The velocity of any wave can be calculated from its frequency and wavelength. How fast (in meters per second) is a wave moving if its six waves go by in a second and its wavelength is two meters? A. 1/3 B. 3 C. 8 D. 12

    Wave speed = (frequency) x (wavelength)

    Wave speed = (6 / sec) x (2 m)

    Wave speed = 12 m/s (D)
