The temperature of an object is - 40 degrees Celsius. What will be its temperature on the Fahrenheit scale?

    (-40°C * 9/5) + 32 = - 40°F

    It would still be - 40 degrees in the Fahrenheit scale. First multiply it by 9/4, - 40 x 9/5, then add 32.
