    Answer

    Correct answer is solid

    Expalnation

to explain this problem, it is necessary to know what is solid, liquid, gas and plasma

    Gas

Gas is a substance whose molecules or atoms can expand freely to fill the whole container gas does not have fixed shape like solid and no fixed volume like liquid so a substance in its frozen state cannot be a gas.

    Liquid

Liquid is a substance which is composed of molecules which can move freely among themselves but they cannot separate like molecule of gases. Liquid does not have fixed volume and shape. Therefore a substance in its frozen state cannot be a liquid.

    Plasma

Plasma is the fourth state of matter. It is a matter in which many of the electrons moves freely among the nuclei of the atoms. It does not have fixed shape. So a substance in its frozen state cannot be a plasma

    solid

solid is a substance the atoms of which are closely packed. Atoms of solid cannot move freely like liquid and gas. Solid have fixed shape whether it is in a container or not. Therefore a substance in its frozen state is a solid because its atoms are locked and cannot move from one position to another like gas and liquid molecules.

Answer: Any substance that is frozen is a Solid.

In solids, atoms do not really move because they are closely packed with one another giving it a proper shape.

In liquids, atoms and molecules move fast enough that they can overcome attractions of each other but partially.

In gas, atoms move really fast and they are able to overcome all the attraction around them and plasma is quite similar to gas.
