People with very good pitch discrimination can very quickly determine what note they are listening to. The note on the musical scale called C₆ (two octaves above middle C) has a frequency of 1050 Hz. Some trained musicians can identify this note after hearing only 12 cycles of the wave.

    = 11ms

    Explanation:

    We have,

    1050Hz = 1050cycles / s

    Divide the number of cycle by the number of cycle per seconds

    we have,

    no. of cycles / frequency = Time

    so the solution will be:

    12 cycles / 1050 Hz = 0.0114 seconds

    Convert seconds into milliseconds by multiplying it by 1000 which is

    0.0114 seconds * 1000

    = 11.43ms

    ≅ 11m/s
