A 2-KG sample of metal increases in temperature by 20 C when heated on a stove for 3 minutes. Can you predict what will happen to the temperature rise of 4 kg sample of the same material when heat on the same stove for 6 minutes

    Answer 30°C Explanation If a 2kg is heated it's temperature raises by 20°C then the temperature would raise by half when a 4kg mass is heated for the same time. 1/2 * 20 = 10°C If it takes 2minutes for the temperature to raise to 20°C, then the temperature would rise by 6/2 when heated for 6 minutes. 6/2 * 10 = 30°C
