A sound wave in air has a frequency of 262 Hz and travels at a speed of 330 m/s. What is the wavelength of this wave?

    Frequency (f) = 262 Hz

    Velocity (v) = 330 m/s

    wavelength = ?

    Now

    velocity = frequency * wavelength

    330 = 262 * wavelength

    wavelength = 330 / 262

    Therefore wavelength = 1.26 m
