A 2.4 kg ball is thrown straight up with a speed of 35 m/s. what is its initial kinetic energy? Find the maximum height the ball will attain

    First you would use KE = 1/2mv^2 and plug in those numbers into the equation and you would find the Kinetic Energy. Then to find the height, you would rearrange the formula U=mgh to U/mg=h, so then you can find the height that way.
