    Given that,

    Mass of object is 500kg

    m=500kg

    The body accelerates at 10cm/s2

    What is the magnitude of force?

    The magnitude of force that push or pull a body of mass and causes it to change velocity i. e accelerate

    The force is given as

    Force = mass * acceleration

    F=ma

    The unit of mass (m) is kg

    The unit of acceleration (a) is m/s²

    The unit of Force (F) is Newton

    So in the question given the acceleration is in cm/s², so we need to convert it to m/s

    So, 1m=100cm

    Then, 10cm/s² = 10cm/s² * 1m/100cm

    So, a=0.1m/s²

    Then applying the formula

    F = ma

    F = 500 * 0.1

    F = 50 newton

    The magnitude of force pushing the body forward is F = 50N

    Given Information:

    Mass = m = 500 kg

    Acceleration = a = 10 cm/s²

    Required Information:

    Magnitude of rightward net force = F = ?

    Answer:

    Magnitude of rightward net force = 50 N

    Explanation:

    From the Newton's second law of motion

    F = ma

    Where m is the mass and a is the acceleration

    To get force in Newtons first convert 10 cm/s² into m/s²

    10/100 = 0.1 m/s²

    F = 500*0.1

    F = 50 N

    Therefore, the magnitude of rightward net force acting on it is 50 Newtons.
