Jupiter's radius is much larger than that of Earth. However, Jupiter does not have nearly the mass that Earth would have if it were as large as Jupiter. Why?

    A great deal of Jupiter's volume is in the gas phase.

    explaination???:

    as we all know gas is less dense than solid, it would scatter more and u would see it bigger.
