If the current flowing into and out of a 9 Volt battery is 1 Ampere, how much work is done by the battery in 10 seconds?

that potential difference has units of Volt and 1 Volt = 1 Joules/Coulomb.

A Volt represents the amount of work (in Joules) required required to move a charge through a potential difference.

    90J

    Explanation:

The following data were obtained from the question:

    Voltage (v) = 9 Volt

    Current (I) = 1 A

    Time (t) = 10 secs

    Electrical Work = ?

Electrical work is given by the following formula:

Electrical work = current x time x voltage

    Electrical work = I x t x V

With the above formula, the electrical work can be obtained as follow:

    Electrical work = I x t x V

    Electrical work = 1 x 10 x 9

    Electrical work = 90J

Therefore, 90J of work is done by the battery in 10 seconds
