Humpty and Dumpty attempt a tug-of-war with a 16-meter-long rope standing on a smooth frictionless surface. Upon pulling the rope, how far will each one of them slide before they meet each other, if their mass is exactly the same?

    if it is a true frictionless surface then. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction if both their mass are the same then they should both travel the same distance 16/2=8
