The only person who may ask questions during an employee performance review is the supervisor.

    False, every time I have been in an employee performance review I have been allowed, and even encouraged to ask questions. There are probably some supervisors out there who just bring in employees, read the review and kick them out but ideally, it is a learning process for both people and a way to improve the relationship and move forward.
