    Let

    h=height of table = 1.25m

    g=acceleration due to gravity = 9.8m/s^2

    t=time taken=?

    Solution

    h = (vi) (t) + 1/2 (g) (t^2)

    1.25 = (0) (t) + 1/2 (9.8) (t^2)

    t^2 = 0.255

    t. = 0.5s
